Team Picture Day June 11 at
3:30pm
Picture day starts at
3:30pm this Friday (June 11) at American high school. Individual picture will be the
first session, and ALL SWIMMERS NEED TO BE AT THE POOL AT 4:30 PM
for team picture. WEAR YOUR TEAM SUIT. If you haven't
gotten yours yet, don't panic, just wear a plain black or dark
color suit. If you don't have a dark color suit, a CDST T-shirt
would work as a last resort. Remember to bring your checkbook and
filled-out form. If you need another form there will be extra
available at the pool.
We will also have some
team suits for sale at pool tomorrow if you are interested in
buying one for your swimmer.
Gold and
Silver groups will still have practice after picture event from
5:30pm -7:30pm on Friday at Kennedy High.

Welcome on board - Coach Robert
Moreside
I would like to introduce coach Robert Moreside, who will join
our coaching team starting this summer.
Coach Rob has more than 30 years of coaching
experience under his belt, and he is competent coaching at all
levels. In the past, he has coached Olympic Trial qualifiers
at senior level, and had ranked #1 swimmer for 10 & under in
USA swimming in age group level. I believe he will be the one
who can bring CDST to the next level in long
term.
He will be mainly coaching Elite and Platinum
groups with coach Wang, and also may involve with Gold and Silver
groups. Don’t be hesitated to talk to him on deck this
summer and get to know his philosophy and valuable tips in
swimming.

Friday from 7:30am-9:00am for
Silver/Gold group swimmers is optional practice at American
High.
Note:
1. We may need to make schedule changes if
requested by school district.
2. We offer more training hours for Platinum,
Gold and Silver groups in the summer which will benefit all parents
and swimmers, but we may have to go back to original training
schedule in fall and winter due to limitations.

Water Qualify Concern
Swimming pool (Kennedy & American) use chlorine
to sanitize the pool waters, and the chlorine level is monitored
24x7 and automatically controlled by a computerized chemical
controller. In addition, the pool is cleaned by school district
once every week. Both
of our facility and the equipment should meet the governmental
inspections and requirements.
Sometime you may see dirt, leafs or bugs at bottom
of the pool, we will try to pick up any unwanted stuff, and have
swimmers practice in other side the pool. Hope I address some of
your concerns.
